Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of rentmama.in and any related services (collectively, the “Services”), operated by rentmama, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Renny Punnen (“rentmama”, “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”). By accessing or using the Services, you (“User”, “You”, “Your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. What rentmama Is

rentmama is currently operated as a sole proprietorship. It is not a separately registered company, and Renny Punnen is personally responsible for its operations. This Section will be updated if rentmama is incorporated as a separate legal entity in the future.

rentmama is a software platform that provides:

• Tenant profiles that tenants can create and share with landlords
• Rent tracking tools for landlords, including room-by-room and bed-by-bed rent status (built for PG and hostel-style rentals)
• General tools to help landlords manage tenants and rental income records

rentmama does not own, lease, sub-lease, manage, or operate any property listed or managed by its users. rentmama is not a landlord, property manager, or real estate broker.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Services.

3. Accounts and Profiles

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your tenant or landlord profile. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Tenant Profiles

Tenant profile information (such as rental history and references) is provided by the tenant. rentmama does not independently verify the accuracy of this information. Landlords are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before relying on a tenant profile.

5. Rent Tracking

The rent tracker allows landlords to record and monitor rent status across rooms, beds, or units. rentmama is a record-keeping tool only. We do not collect, process, or hold rent, security deposits, or any amounts owed between a landlord and a tenant unless explicitly stated otherwise. Any payment of rent, deposits, or related charges occurs directly between the landlord and tenant, outside the Services, and is a private arrangement between those parties. rentmama is not a party to, and bears no responsibility or liability for, that arrangement.

6. Landlord Subscription Fees

Certain features of the Services are available to landlords on a paid subscription basis, charged monthly based on the number of rooms or beds managed on the platform. By subscribing, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge the applicable fee on a recurring basis until you cancel. Fees are described at the time of subscription and may be updated with notice.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information on your profile
• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Services
• Use the Services to harass, defraud, or discriminate against any other user

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, rentmama shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions or arrangements between landlords and tenants, including disputes over rent, security deposits, notice periods, or property conditions.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless rentmama, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kottayam, Kerala.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
