Delete your rentmama account

You can ask us to delete your rentmama landlord account and your personal data at any time. This page explains how to ask, what we do, what we delete, and what we keep. This page is for the rentmama Landlord app for Android, published on Google Play by Fresso Labs LLP for rentmama.

How to request deletion

Option 1: In the rentmama app (fastest)

  • Open the rentmama landlord app and sign in.
  • Go to More → Settings → Delete account.
  • Read the information, tick the confirmation box and tap Request account deletion.

Request deletion online

Use the name, email and mobile number registered with rentmama so we can verify the request.

Option 2: Online or by email (if you can't open the app)

Use the form on this page, or email support@rentmama.in from the email address registered with rentmama, with the subject "Account deletion request". Include your registered name and mobile number so we can verify that the request is from you.

What happens next

  • We receive and verify your request. For a request made in the app, your sign-in is the verification. For an online or email request, we may reply to your registered email to confirm it is you.
  • Access pauses. While the request is pending you can't use the app.
  • Waiting period: your account is permanently deleted 30 days after we verify your request. We may email you to confirm.

Changed your mind? You can cancel the request any time before the 30 days end. Sign in to the app and tap Cancel my deletion request, or email us. Your account then continues as normal.

What we delete and what we keep

Deleted when we complete your request:

  • Your name, mobile number and email address
  • Your login details
  • Your property name and full address (street address and PIN code)
  • Tenants' phone numbers and email addresses that you entered
  • Contact form entries and support messages linked to you

Kept for legal and accounting reasons:

  • Tenant and rent-payment records and the related property structure (floors, flats, rooms, beds), kept without your personal details
  • Records of the deletion request itself (dates and reference numbers only)

These are kept for as long as applicable Indian tax and accounting law requires, then deleted or anonymised.

Tenant information you entered as a landlord belongs to your business records. Once your account is closed we no longer use it, except to meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information.

If you register again with the same email after deletion, we create a completely new account with a new user ID. Your previous account's data is not restored.
